Get better tools to inspect your system state. There's nothing you can do in this situation other than reboot. Windows is really bad at cleaning up file locks when processes die or are killed consequently, Windows thinks the file is locked by a process that died (or was killed). Try running your Ant script as an administrative user, using Run As.

The Ant process doesn't have enough permissions to delete the files (typically because they were created by a different user, perhaps a system user). It was because the file i tried to delete was a part of a classpath for another task. The files are apparently not open by any other process but ant still does not manage to delete them. When I try to delete them manually it works just fine. The issue I am having is that when I try to do a clean (delete all the stuff that was generated) the delete task reports that is was unable to delete some files.

I stand ready for any guidance, thank you.Īs per my best knowledge " ant load-seed (Load ONLY the seed data (not seed-initial, demo, ext* or anything else) meant for use after an ualong with the code and needs to be in sync for operation)" I don't believe things should be this difficult to install. I have not been able to come to grasps with this issue. After the foregone commands were executed I proceeded into clicking the startofbiz located inside the apache ofbiz folder. Then I ran the CMD and entered the Ofbiz directory' cd, thenceforward, I resumed into entering the the 'ant run-install' command, followed by 'ant run-install-seed', I received a 'build successful' message for both of the commands I entered. I made two environmental variables, JAVA_HOME and ANT_HOME in addition, I included both Java and Ant Apache Bin addresses respectively into the environmental the PATH variable.
